The Mercury Crab Snare

A modern, 3D-printed take on the round crab snare:

– Lead-free weight, adjustable from 2.5 to 10 oz

Easy-Open Bait Cage

Unscrew the top, add the bait, and screw the top back on. The Mercury snare’s 2.7 cubic inch volume makes efficient use of bait.

Lead-Free, Adjustable Weight

The plate washers are made from corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated steel to avoid lead toxicity.

Unscrew the bolt and change the number of washers to adjust the weight. Each snare comes with 6 washers (1.5 oz each) to customize the weight from 2.5 to 10 oz (configured as 10 oz out of the box, as shown).

Glows in the Dark

The Mercury crab snare glows in the dark. The sky blue phosphorescence matches the peak visual spectral sensitivity of crustaceans, enabling positive phototaxis.
