The Atlantis XFMR Crab Snare

The Atlantis XFMR crab snare transforms into multiple configurations to suit the conditions and your preferences.

– Lead-free weight, fully adjustable from 1-10 oz
– Bait-efficient, easy-load cage
– Glow-in-the-dark body to increase catch efficiency

Designed for Flight

In rocket form, the tail fins help the Atlantis fly straight and true, similar to an arrow or dart.

The front-loaded weight distribution and engineered fin design optimize the Atlantis rocket’s static margin to ensure stable flight.

Lead-Free, Adjustable Weight

All included bolts, nuts, and washers are made from corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated steel to avoid lead toxicity. Remove the nut and change the number of washers to adjust the weight.

For the Atlantis’ rocket form, there are 19 washers (0.25 oz each) to adjust the weight from 5.5 to 10 oz (8.5 oz as shown).

Easy-Open, Bait-Efficient Cage

The Atlantis XFMR is named after the Atlantis space shuttle. Like the space shuttle, the Atlantis crab snare has a cargo bay door that opens wide for easy loading. The Atlantis’ 3.1 cubic inch volume accommodates all types of bait.

Glows in the Dark

The Atlantis crab snare glows in the dark. The sky blue phosphorescence matches the peak visual spectral sensitivity of crustaceans, enabling positive phototaxis.

Traditional Design

The Atlantis also transforms into a traditional snare design with the weight underneath the cage. It comes with 5 washers (1.5 oz each) that can be bolted directly to the bottom of the cage to adjust the weight from 1 to 10 oz (10 oz as shown).

Fully Modular

Additional configurations can be created by attaching the larger 1.5 oz washers to the front or removing the tail fins.
