Adjustable Weight

Remove the nut and change the number of washers to adjust the weight. Each snare comes with 7 washers (1.2 oz each) to customize the weight from 6 to 12 oz. It’s ready-to-use out of the box at 8.3 oz.

Lead Free

To avoid lead toxicity, the bolt and nut are made from zinc-plated steel and the plate washers are made from plain steel.

Easy-Open Bait Cage

No more struggling with bait doors and hooks. Simply unscrew the top, add the bait, and screw the top back on.

The bait-efficient cage (4.4 cubic inch volume) doesn’t need much bait to be filled.

Glows in the Dark

Our crab snares glow in the dark with a sky blue color that matches the peak visual spectral sensitivity of crustaceans to enable positive phototaxis.
